HolliGo 4x4 Rental

Everything You Need to Know before booking your trip:

1. What vehicle do you offer?
We rent out a fully equipped Suzuki Jimny GLX 5-door, perfect for adventure trips.

2. What license do I need?
You’ll need a valid B/EB or Code 8 driver’s license (national or international).

3. Is there an age restriction?
Yes, drivers must be 23 years or older to rent with HolliGo.

4. How does insurance/excess work?

  • Refundable Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of R 15,000.00 is payable upon vehicle collection. This amount is fully refundable after the rental period, provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the rental agreement and no damage or losses are incurred.

  • Standard Liability

All rentals include standard insurance cover with a damage/liability excess of R 10,000 for vehicle damage.

  • Optional Loss Liability Reduction (LLR)

You may reduce your liability excess with one of our optional LLR cover options:

    • LLR1: Reduce excess to R 5,000 at R 300 per day

    • LLR2: Reduce excess to R 0 at R 450 per day

5. How do I collect or return the vehicle?

  • Pick up or drop off at Cape Town Airport: R650 each way

  • Pick up or drop off at 7 Willoughby Drive: Free of charge

6. What is required to confirm a booking?

  • Deposit to cover insurance of R 15,000.00. Due at collection of vehicle.

  • If booking within 14 days of rental, the full amount is payable before collection 

7. What is your cancellation policy?

  • More than 30 days before rental: Full refund

  • Between 30 and 14 days: 50% refund

  • Between 14 and 7 days: 25% refund

  • Less than 7 days: No refund

8. What about cleaning fees?

  • Vehicles must be returned in a clean condition for inspection

  • R 1,500.00 cleaning fee applies if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty

9. Optional Add Ons

  • Solar panel: R 150 per day

10. Traffic Fines

  • Traffic fines: Renter is responsible for all fines, plus a R 250 admin fee per fine

11. How far can I travel?

  • HolliGo rentals include unlimited kilometres within South Africa.

12. Vehicle is equipped with tracking. Data may be used for recovery, security and contractual purposes.
